Thief's Affair Issue 2

It's been over a year since the first issue of The Thief's Affair, but I've finally gotten around to finishing the next one!  To try and make up for the delay, issue 2 contains two chapters and feels a little more chunky and satisfying to hold.  More adventures in the city of Londra, as Jack finds himself in quite a tricky situation that will only escalate no matter what he tries.

Issue 1 is still available, so if you're new to the series it won't be hard to catch up!  Please keep an eye out for it at any of the comic events I'm attending throughout the year.

Japanofail 7

All ready to go from MCM Comic Con at the of the month is Japanofail 7 - another dose of the crazy, the misdirected and the just plain stupid.  If you liked the others you'll probably like this one too!

If you're new to Japanofail however issues 1-3 and some of 4 are available to read online here.  Of course you can always come and have a look in person as well.

Winter is over!

It's been a while since the last update, but as the sun's finally emerged from winter, so have I.  I've been busy the last couple of months booking events and working on new comics.  Curent new events that I'll be attending are:

MCM London Comic Con - 24-6th May

London Film and Comic Con - 5-7th July

MCM Manchester Comic Con - 20th July

I have my eye on one or two other events, but these are the 100% confirmed ones for the time being. :-)  I'm especially excited to be visiting Manchester as it's the first time I've visited that event.

I'm also working on two comics right now.  Hopefully they'll both be ready in time for May, but for now I'll just say they're coming on and the next 2-3 weeks will be quite busy for me hahahaa.  The preview above is for Japanofail 7, which I suppose constitutes as a new comic announcement.  Will keep you posted over the coming weeks!

LSCC 2013 - Complete!

So yeah London Super Comic Con was a weeks ago.  It was a good event, to which I would've mentioned earlier were it not for the fact that there was a demon virus flying around the convention hall, effectively wiping out half the attendance in the following days.  Am mostly recovered now, and if you got hit too I hope you're better as well.  Cosplay Kerfuffle had a positive launch, and I am hoping it will continue to do well at future events...

...which bring me to a certain point. I'm not currently booked up for any future events!  There are definitely specific places I want to bring my comics to, and others I'm not so sure about, but until booking open up there's little to be done in any case.  While we wait, if anyone has any suggestions or requests for events you'd like to see me at, please let us know either here or on my facebook page, and I can see if it's feasible.

Come what may I will be on the eye out for events, both the usual and perhaps one or two more unexpected places.  I'll keep you posted. :-)

London Super Comic Con 2013 Preview

So the London Super Comic Con is just a couple days away, and everything is ready.  Please check the map for as I'm on the opposite side to the majority of the Artist's Alley.  To help make the table a little easier to spot I now have a shiny banner which will be on display.  Looks much like this (exactly, in fact):

Also the new Cosplay Kerfuffle has since arrived from the printers, so it will definitely be making its debut this weekend.  I'll also have copies all of my other comics on hand.  If you're attending - come say hi! :-)

Cosplay Kerfuffle

It's new comic time!  Cosplay Kerfuffle is a one-shot comedy about cosplay, cosplayers, and the risks these people take whenever they put a costume on.  It's 28 pages long, so there's not much else I can say without ruining the plot. ;-)

The comic is currently at the printers and should be arriving in time for the London Super Comic Con next weekend (Check the map - I'll be sat on the right side near the Panel Room!).  Please look out for it!

New year - new comics!

It's been a while since I last updated here.  Basically I've just emerged from hibernating since October Expo and am now knee-deep in comics that need my attention.  My own fault really.

I'm currently working on six different titles, most of which are only in the writing stages.  3 of them you might already know if you're familiar know my work, so you can probably guess those ones, and the other 3 are entirely new things.  It's not worth giving more details as it's too soon for anything like that, but basically I'm writing to say I'm back in the game, and actively working on new comics!  No idea which one will be finished first, but will keep you posted.

I'll also have a table at next month's London Super Comic Con, so if you're attending feel free to pop over and say hi. :-)
